Hi Peter, That is some beast of an array. I have a single 5 element LFA just above the roof of the house and to date very impressed with the noise reduction at 45 deg off the nose, I suffer it a lot from a local industrial estate. Have a look at my site on the LFA build re the feed and balun, it works for me.

Long time no speak, hope you are both well?

Thinking of getting back into ham radio, never worked HF or 6 metres and think it may make a challenge. Looking at the Flexradio 3000, I think this software radio is the way forward. Have you any comments re this box? Don't know anybody who has one but have read lots about it. What is a good starter ariel for 6?
